Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My heart is heavy at the news that yet another life has been taken in the City of Minneapolis, MN today by an ICE agent and fellow American citizen. We must continue to posture our hearts and minds before the Throne of God that He would have mercy on this nation and world, and that the peace of God would be revealed in the earth. Additionally, please pray for the families impacted by recent loss of life, as well as the families, neighbors and friends that are so deeply impacted and traumatized by the rise of violence and unrest by governmental agencies.
As I have shared previously, I am calling for 2026 to be the Year of Prayer. Indeed, I am reminded daily why the Lord impressed this charge for prayer so heavily on my heart. I ask that as you seek the Lord, you would pray for peace in this nation, the end of dissension and racial divide, and that all who profess to be believers in the LORD Jesus Christ would demonstrate the Love of Christ in the earth. The Word of God compels us in Ephesians 5:2 to “walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us”. Regardless of political affiliation or conviction, I believe there is a manner in which we should live our lives that would reflect the God we serve. May we always remember the Lord we represent, and may we live out our faith in a way that draws others to Him in love.
