Voting Eligibility Clarification

Clarification Notice Regarding Master Class Certification and Voting Eligibility

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Please be advised that a clarification is being issued regarding the notice distributed following the Executive Bishops Council (EBC) meeting held in Birmingham, Alabama, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Below is clarification regarding Master Class Certification:

  • Master Class Certification is still required for all ministers.
  • However, an extension of sixty (60) days has been granted to allow individuals who have not yet completed the Master Class to renew their license to remain eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
  • The Master Class schedule will continue as previously scheduled.
  • An additional Master Class opportunity will be offered during the Summer Convention for those who have not yet completed the course.
  • This extension applies only to the Master Class requirements and does not affect any other programs, requirements, or classes.

Please also note the following voting eligibility requirements:

  • All licensed ministers must be registered with the convention and hold a current license in order to participate in the voting process.
  • All lay delegates must be registered delegates with the convention and must have in hand an official lay delegate letter issued by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. General Secretary’s Office in order to be eligible to participate in the voting process.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we provide this clarification. Please govern yourselves accordingly.
