OUR PRAYERS AND HEARTS ARE WITH THE DAVIS AND INDIANA AVENUE PENTECOSTAL CHURCH OF GOD FAMILY AT THE RECENT TRANSITION OF THE HONORABLE BISHOP CHARLES E. DAVIS.
It is with a heavy heart that Lady Brooks and I acknowledge that passing of the Honorable Bishop Charles E. Davis. Bishop Davis served as pastor of Indiana Avenue Pentecostal Church of God since 1970 and Disocesan Bishop of the 1st Episcopal District “New York State Council” and then the 6th Episcopal District “Illinois District Council” for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. beginning 1986. Bishop Davis also held several degrees: Bachelor of Liberal Arts; Bachelor of Bible; Master of Theology; and Doctorate of Divinity.
