The Initial Notice of Transition for the Honorable Bishop Vanuel Little, Sr., Bishop Emeritus and Former General Board Member, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., Former Diocesan, Oklahoma State Council of Churches
Our God who is Omnipotent and Omniscient has called his servant, Bishop Vanuel Little, Sr. from labor to reward. Bishop Little, one of our Apostolic Fathers has served this great organization over five decades. He was a trendsetter, prolific teacher and dynamic preacher serving at conventions annually. Many pastors and ministers were mentored under his ministry from his tenure serving with the Young People’s Alliance as well as the General Body at large. As the Diocesan of the Oklahoma State Council of Churches, he served faithfully and was committed to his assignment with his stellar leadership skills.
With much love and respect, we offer our condolences, support and prayers to his widow, Dr. Alice Little and the entire bereaved family. At the direction of our Presiding Bishop, Theodore L. Brooks and the Little family, the official arrangements will be released in the upcoming days. During this time of transition, we request your continued prayers as well as acts of emotional and spiritual support to the family. It is with great humility and honor; The Department of Protocol and National Adjutancy Corps stand ready to serve the Little family and the Oklahoma State Council during this most difficult time.
