Violence in Charlottesville, Virginia

After witnessing the sickening satanic acts of racial violence perpetrated by various white supremacist groups in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend, the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. goes on record condemning in the strongest terms possible these deplorable acts.

While we feel blessed to worship in a country which guarantees us “Freedom of Speech and Religion,” we are also spiritually bound to stand against all freedoms used to intimidate and invoke fear, harm and evil upon another race of people. We call on all leaders of this country to unite against these acts of terrorism that we might truly live up to our pledge and become “one nation under God.”

Our prayers are with the family of Heather Heyer who was murdered as well as the numerous citizens seriously injured during this blatant act of bigotry and hatred.
