The Indiana Avenue Pentecostal Church of God is seeking a pastor.

The Indiana A venue Pentecostal Church of God is seeking a pastor who is guided by the Holy Ghost. The pastor must be able to preach and teach the word of God with clarity and conviction, demonstrating the ability to lead the congregation as directed by God. The Pastor should be willing and able to equip every member to participate in the work of ministry, raising up and developing future leaders to bless our church, Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood, and worldwide communities. Only applicants meeting the requirements should apply.

• Must be a licensed and ordained minister in good standing with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. (PAW)
• Must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution

In addition to these baseline qualifications, we expect our new Pastor to exemplify the marks of a mature disciple: prayerfulness, sensitivity to the work of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness faith, meekness, and self-control. Applicants must submit the following:

• Pastoral Position Application
• Two letters of recommendation
  • From any superior within the PAW
  • From a Bishop within the PAW
    • If the applicant is currently a Bishop, both letters must be from colleagues within the PAW
• Resume, not to exceed 5 pages
